Okay, so a fly flew into our house sometime recently, but he only appears when Anya’s napping, so that’s a bit strange and I don’t have a fly swatter so I guess he’s just going to buzz around until he escapes. We watched “V for Vendetta” last night and overall it was okay if you like comic book type movies and are willing to sit through an extremely long, complex film. Not for kids of course, but I would say age 10 and up would be okay with it. A little violent at the end and has serious themes reminescent of “Schindler’s List”, but overall a decent film with a decent message. I like Natalie Portman and it had a bit of romance towards the end, so if you liked the “Fantastic Four” and “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, this movie is a bit better than those two to me, but its on the same level as those. I’m going to rate the movies I watch with stars until I think of something else. 1 star being bad and 5 stars being the best and highly recommended, plus I’m going to do categories, so here begins my movie reviews…
For boys 10 and over and husbands who like video games – 3 stars
For girls 10 and under and Mommies – 1 and a half stars
For couples -2 stars
For kids 10 and under – Not recommended
V for Vendetta is rated R and runs 132 minutes starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving.
