This past weekend I took Anya to Huntsville and went to a children’s museum there. It was a lot of fun for her. It was modeled after a history lesson essentially, it had all kinds of old village 1800s style history in it, including a model of a house and things about all the U.S. presidents. I could see it would be a great field trip for kids in 2nd or 3rd grade. They also had an area for children 6 and under that included all kinds of hands on activities. Anya really liked this area and she loved the talking tree. There was a tree that told stories and talked and she thought that was the best thing ever.
Arwen is doing well, still being a bit fussy here and there, but that’s normal. She’s doing pretty well sleeping, just not very long stretches each time. She’s doing better than Anya did though with the sleeping thing so hopefully she’ll be sleeping more at night for me soon!
Enjoy the photos below and Happy Groundhog Day (saw his shadow)…
