Nothing too exciting has been happening around here lately. We went back to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers this past Sunday for lunch. They have yummy chicken, comparable to Zaxby’s and Guthrie’s in Alabama. Raising Cane’s is originally from Louisiana and they actually carry sweet tea, which is highly irregular out here. Everyone drinks either flavored tea like raspberry or peach, or unsweet tea.
I went to a craft festival on Saturday and found a few things. I got another nightlight from www.gregdixon.com. He carves wax nightlights and they are really pretty lit up. I also got this pumpkin cobbler that’s really easy to make and is really yummy. They had cherry cobbler too, but ran out of it. Their website is www.plentifulpantry.com. And lastly I got Travis some peanut brittle. He likes it and so does my brother, but I didn’t get any for Stephen yet. I may order him some though for his birthday! Now, we will see if Stephen reads my website!
This weekend we are thinking of going to Ontario, CA for the day to the mall there and to get our Chick Fil A. Seriously. When you don’t have places like Chick Fil A and Krystals out here then you are willing to drive 3 hours to get it!
