This past weekend Travis and I got to return to one of our favorite places. Somewhere we haven’t been in almost 7 years. The Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn. We left Friday night and got to my brother’s house, which was the icing on the cake. We got to spend two nights with my brother and sister in law at their house, something we had never done. There are such big pluses to living closer to family. We had a great time with my brother and sister in law, Cindy, who also accompanied us to the Ren Fest. Anya loved the festival as well. She got her face painted, rode a swing, a dragon flyer, and a huge Corkscrew slide 4 times! She also loved the acrobatic show and has since been trying to mimic the show! Anya and I both got our hair braided alike as well. See photo below! We had just a great weekend. I love the Renaissance Festival and if you ever get a chance to go to one they are totally worth it. We ate, watched shows, and shopped. Anya got the ribbon fries and we shared a root beer. I got steak on a stake which was delicious and Travis got steak on a bun. Don’t be surprised by the people though, everyone addresses as you as lord and lady and everything is done as traditional as possible.
