Anya was a pink butterfly and Travis painted her face…Arwen was a rose, but wanted to paint Daddy so her the rose on her face did not come out very good and did not last long. It was about 75 here last night so the weather was really nice for trick or treating! Arwen ended up looking a bit more like a saloon girl than a rose, but she had a ball going to the houses with her sister and getting candy! She really got into it too! She couldn’t say trick or treat really well, but she could say thank you! The neighborhood we went to really decorated nice too! Several of the houses we went to had large mannequins in their windows or at their door, which Arwen absolutely loved! She especially loved the zombies and the 10 foot Frankenstein! My favorite was the ghost that was in one of the two story houses and had a strobe light flashing near him! That was a great idea and one I will steal one day! :) Enjoy the photos! Our pumpkin carving event turned into quite the fiasco so no pumpkin carving photos this year…the pumpkin was a bit too soft for carving so his eyes and nose blended together…he looked like he had two mouths! :) Travis painted Anya and Arwen’s faces with some special paint, that was real face paint, not made in China, and that came all the way from London! Also, Anya’s fishtail braids were courtesy of yours truly!
