Happy St. Patricks Day! Just some cuteness today…

The past few days we have been sick with a stomach virus…all of us…at the same time. Not fun. Arwen seemed to have it the worst and was the first one sick with it. I’m praying she’s finally better, then I got sick, followed shortly by Travis and Anya the same night. I’m such a worrier too that I’m continually scared that we are all going to get sick again, even though right now we seem stabilized. We have definitely had our fair share of sickness since November.
In other news, Anya’s last basketball game is this Saturday and we have really enjoyed watching her play. Basketball is not really her game but she’s having a good time playing. One little girl on her team is an absolute natural and the funny thing is she’s the shortest and smallest player! One little girl just enjoys showing off during the game, one little girl is a bit competitive, one little girl is just super sweet and tries really hard and then there’s Anya. Anya loves to play and does really well running back and forth. Track and Field is going to be this girls sport I’m telling you, our daughter is a runner! She hasn’t made a basket during a game but she also tries really hard.
Beckham’s Act, the bill I’ve been pestering everyone about pertaining to ending the use of the gas chamber in the animal shelter facilities around Alabama is now in the hopper. It will go to Committee after Committee and then hopefully become a law! There is a rally on the Capitol steps in Montgomery on March 24th at 12pm. Feel free to come join us to rally for animal legislation! I’m very passionate about this bill so I’m really hopeful that it will pass!
Finally, I’m still totally into Harry Potter! It has been so much fun watching and reading the movies and books with Travis and Anya. Arwen has even liked some parts of the movies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Harry Potter, I know some people are not fans of the wizarding/witch type world, but Harry Potter is all about good vs. evil and in my book, there’s nothing wrong with that!
Looking forward to having a small Harry Potter party in April and I have some amazing party ideas! Take a look…I have to be sneaky with the images I share, I’m trying to keep it a surprise for Travis so none of the images are what the party is going to look like here…you’ll have to wait until April to see my final results!
