Where has March gone? I just realized its March 23rd. It feels as though this month has flown by.
So, what have we been up to? Well, I was supposed to fly out to Vegas on March 12th but it got cancelled because the flights were too full and then we all got the upper respiratory type cold last week and this week has just started but already feels busy with the Kids Mart and trip to Prattville to see the Thunderbirds on Saturday. This will be Anya’s first experience with the Thunderbirds Air Show so I’m sure she’s going to love it with Daddy and Pop Pop.
We went to visit Travis’ cousin Charee who is expecting her first baby and is so sweet. Anya just adores her. She was one of the flower girls in Charee’s wedding back in November and always talks about her Aunt Charee. And I’m very glad Anya likes her so much because we don’t see very much of Travis’ side of the family very often.
Arwen is walking all over the place and is just adorable. She’s taken to saying “thank you” all the time now and its just so sweet.
Anya has been learning to tell time and that’s pretty cute too because she understands about the big hand and little hand but she doesn’t know about the number thing yet…she told Travis today that the time was 3:4. She was right about the 3, but its hard to explain to a 5 year old that the 4 actually means 20. I never thought about it until today and thought that was going to confuse her so we need to get a digital clock in here for her! :)
I had my “Slumber Party” and it was a lot of fun. On top of getting to drink wine again everyone got to check out some really fun romance enhancement! I have a wonderful husband and am happy to say we are still pretty crazy about each other. In my personal opinion these type of parties are great because there’s so much out there as long as you have an open mind!
Congratulations to my cousin Lauren on her engagement this past Saturday as well.
And here’s some cuteness for everyone…

My girls are the most amazing little beings. Arwen is a handful yes, but she gives us so many smiles and laughs that you can’t help but smile when you are around her. Even her cry is cute. She rarely cries unless she wants something and she’s very smart. She already tries to control the TV and the Wii by pointing them at the TV and has been caught making calls to Ireland and Japan…
She is a truly amazing little girl and while she drives me batty at times because she has so much energy she is so much fun to be around.
Anya is equally amazing. Incredibly smart, knows all her letters and can identify them all to me…but too shy to identify them to Granny or Pop Pop or Aunt Charee. And she can count to 100. She knows what the red light/green light and stop signs are for and can read a few words quite well. And her memory is unbelievable…I think she may have a touch of Mommy’s photographic memory because she usually can remember something from just telling her or seeing it one or two times.
Both of my girls are beautiful and both of my girls are so loved! They have their Daddy totally wrapped around their fingers and he has them wrapped as well.
I just saw Travis sleeping with Arwen on the sofa and had to brag about them all a bit. They are so sweet and I’m very blessed to have such an amazing family.
