So, Anya is all signed up for soccer and her games start August 29th. It was a bit disorganized getting started with it all, but it seems like things will go more smoothly now. We have to go get her some shin guards though. We got her kleets already and they are very cute. Pink and black Nike kleets! Arwen is doing well, she can sit up by herself now if we put her in a sitting position, but she hasn’t quite figured out to get into that position by herself yet. I’m still doing pet photography but haven’t had any more jobs yet, other than work for the shelter which I am overloaded with, but I really enjoy it and it gives me practice, I just wish I would make some money at it soon! I went to see the movie “The Ugly Truth” this past week and it was okay, I would say its more of a rental type movie, but my friend April paid for me because I paid to go see “The Proposal”; “The Proposal” was definitely the better movie! I’ve started working on some homeschooling stuff for Anya for her preschool. Since we decided for her not to go to preschool, I thought I would practice doing homeschool stuff with her this year and see how it goes for both of us. I found a great workbook and have a new friend that I think will be great to collaborate with. Anya will start back with gymnastics on August 17th and she will have some practices for soccer and we will be taking some classes at the Birmingham Zoo that are art related and that I will leave her at, which will be a first for both of us, but its a class with other homeschool kids ages 4-6, so I think it will be fun for her. Arwen still isn’t the best sleeper but I think I’m just getting used to the pattern now, she is awfully cute though. Anya and Arwen are already very close and are so cute together. I think they are going to be great sisters to each other, but its a new experience for me to see, as I never had a sister (although I do count Serena as my sister). I love having an older brother, but its going to be interesting for both Travis and I to watch the sibling bond between the girls.
