I’m talking about LOST! We have been watching this show since the beginning and I have to say its the best TV show I have ever watched. I’m a fan of TV but never has a TV show kept me so interested, so excited, so confused, and so happy about what’s happening than LOST. Last night was the Season 4 finale and it did not disappoint. Its aggravating that we have to wait til January 2009 before we get new episodes, but this show is definitely worth the wait. If you don’t watch this show and want something to do over the hot summer, go rent or buy the first 3 seasons on DVD and play catch up. The 4th season will be released in December, but its only 16 episodes so you can be all caught up by the time the 5th season starts up next year. The cast makes this show as well, especially Michael Emerson who plays Ben, Terry O Quinn who plays Locke, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, and Jorge Garcia as Hurley. To me these characters are exceptionally good, although the cast as a whole is excellent as well. Give Lost a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed but you may call me complaining about how addicted you’ve become!
Hello everyone! Yes, the rumors are true…I’m pregnant! We are expecting our second baby on December 26th. I had my first doc appointment today in Birmingham with my new OB and everything looks normal and I’m feeling great! Travis is very excited, as is the new big sister, Anya! Chance is wagging his tail too! Please keep us all in your prayers as we await the arrival of our new family member!
This past weekend Travis and I got to return to one of our favorite places. Somewhere we haven’t been in almost 7 years. The Georgia Renaissance Festival in Fairburn. We left Friday night and got to my brother’s house, which was the icing on the cake. We got to spend two nights with my brother and sister in law at their house, something we had never done. There are such big pluses to living closer to family. We had a great time with my brother and sister in law, Cindy, who also accompanied us to the Ren Fest. Anya loved the festival as well. She got her face painted, rode a swing, a dragon flyer, and a huge Corkscrew slide 4 times! She also loved the acrobatic show and has since been trying to mimic the show! Anya and I both got our hair braided alike as well. See photo below! We had just a great weekend. I love the Renaissance Festival and if you ever get a chance to go to one they are totally worth it. We ate, watched shows, and shopped. Anya got the ribbon fries and we shared a root beer. I got steak on a stake which was delicious and Travis got steak on a bun. My brother, Steve, got some nachos as well. Go to garenfest.com to check it out if you are interested in going. I highly recommend it. Don’t be surprised by the people though, everyone addresses as you as lord and lady and everything is done as traditional as possible.
